“Keep your circle positive. Surround yourself with good people, do good for others & only good will come your way”– Asta Jakubson
Being a holistic fashion designer, love-relationship & international speaker, I believe that if you surround yourself with love & the right people, anything is possible. I recently collaborated at an event in Orlagh House in Dublin where a group of amazing organisers-Fashion House Ireland, got a group of talented designers, photographers, & models together for a spectacular afternoon of fashion & fun in beautiful surroundings! Collaborating instead of competing is far more rewarding, especially as a business owner, not only can it help grow your own business but you create a bond with similar business owners to you that can end up lasting a lifetime. I wanted to not only share the wonderful pictures taken at the event but to also give you 3 Tips why -Collaborating instead of Competing is good for your business & your customers.
- Exposure in front of a different audience- Your competitors don’t have the same exact audience as you. Yes, there may be some overlap, but they have email subscribers, instagram followers & facebook fans that may not know about your business or may think that your service it is too expensive, doesn’t suit them & may be afraid to get in touch for those reasons,
At Asta Fashions we cater for all budgets for our wedding dress services, made to order & bridal alterations.
“ Perfect Dress with no Stress” is our motto. book your free consultation to get your dream dress to fit perfectly for your special day on our website below.
2. People like supporting supportive people – If you knew the business you were buying from had a” not so nice” owner, would you still buy from them? Would you still buy from them if someone else is selling a similar product but was the nicest person you’d ever met? Probably not. Your customers like supporting nice people. Your followers will notice if you are collaborating with other businesses & that will reflect positively on you! I am a firm believer in giving my clients the best possible personal service & I cater to their needs by o ering a rental service of my custom made hats & headpieces.
At Asta Fashions we o er a full design service of custom made headpieces & hats to match your outfit.
3. Two heads are better than one – Two brains are better than one, right? When two great minds come together extraordinary things can happen. Consider the value you can o er your audience/clients by working together with another business instead of competing. You don’t have to go into business with someone else but you can make a much bigger impact collaborating with another business instead of doing it all on your own, My sister fashion collection -Designer 5G Clothing is made up of a 99.9% silver protective fabric which is engineered to the highest standard by a company I researched in Germany. It is then handmade by myself here in Ireland. I have mixed my silver fabric here to create a custom made red carpet design pictured below but I also o er a full collection of protective tops, vest & scarves on my website link below.
Collaborating is a give & take relationship, fashion doesn’t always have to be about making money. It is about helping each other out to create something beautiful together. Connect with like minded individuals & brainstorm ways you can support each other so we call all grow together, If you have your own business & would like a brainstorming session you can get in touch through the link below.
